There are two ways to sponsor and donate!

METHOD 1 - PLEDGE PER WAVE

Sponsor a surfer by entering their name on the donation form below and the amount per wave you would like to pledge. When the contest ends, we'll let you know the number of waves your surfer rode and your final pledge amount.

METHOD 2 - ONE-TIME DONATION

Make a one-time donation to the challenge. Optionally, enter the name of a surfer you are supporting.

We're the fellows living at the FleaHab Sober Living House.

Why did you join the challenge?
Flea has helped us through our journey to recovery. We want to help others who have lost their lives to drug and alcohol addiction.

I wanted to help this charity raise money so they can keep helping people stay sober.

After 50 years, surfing remains a key motivator for me to be my best physical and mental self. Surfing has provided me with my greatest adventures and richest relationships but also demanded that I control my appetites and live with balance.

It's a great honor to support Flea in setting up his recovery center to show folks a better path!

I am a big fan of FleaHab. I think Flea has a great story and has a lot to offer people wanting to change their lives for the better.

Introduced to surfing after moving out west and meeting my teammate Brady Logan. He tried to shake me off early on with OH days in SF and the rest is history.

I live on Kauai,I was born here. But I love Santa Cruz . My parents are from there. My favorite things to do are surfing and fishing. And I love flea.

Why did you join the challenge?
I love being in the water and supporting my Uncle flea people not doing drugs. I like that he teaches people to surf and fish and do other things instead..

Why did you join the challenge?
I really think it’s important to do what you can to make a difference. Flea has been there for me so I want to be there for him! And he helps lots of people! Plus surfing is rad....Yew!!!!!

I have been paddling kayaks for 30 years. I am a recent import to the California coast - where there are few rivers but many breaks.

Why did you join the challenge?
What better motivation to catch one more wave 70 or 80 times than to support a great cause and force for good in our community.

Why did you join the challenge?
I joined because Flea always helped me with my surf career and pushed me to surf big waves. Bought plane tickets for me when I couldn’t afford them as a kid. He’s a very generous guy!

I love to surf. I love the ocean. And i want to help my daddy and people that need help.

Why did you join the challenge?

I feel very strongly about Fleahab's mission and the importance of providing Sober Living Environments for those in recovery. I particularly appreciate Fleahab's focus on integrating sports, nutrition and healthy lifestyle into recovery.

I would like to do my community service and help this non-profit be empowered with funding to help those that struggle with substance abuse.
